THE STORY OF VILLAGE AND TOWN SIGNS IN NORFOLK came about through the Village Sign Society, of which John Porter is one of the founder members. The society came about through the publication of the books on Suffolk Village Signs and that came about through the Miller and Proctor Norfolk Sign books (originally published by Black Horse). So, in a sense, this book brings all of this full circle! We are thrilled to be able to publish this book because we and many others, have longed to see it in print ever since the third Norfolk Book was published.
